I have just spent about two hours trawling through the forum tying to find the answer but to no avail
I have set this up with my Euro 3900 and is powered by a MAAS SPS 330 II 30A, the problem I have is on SSB
when the mic is keyed the amp won't stay in TX mode it sounds like there is a relay clicking in and out!!
If I select position 6 on the variable power selector the TX stays on!
AM seems to work fine showing a max of around 125w on the meter on level 6
Is it a faulty amp or am I doing something wrong ??
Any advice would be appreciated
thanks
Any info appreciated.
Pictures of the ZETAGI. Have you a picture that not is shown on mods.dk and you like to share this with others, then upload the picture to mods.dk.
I have just bought and installed a Zetagi B300P amp and yes I know ( before all the why ?? comments and stuff! it's too late now I bought it, should have read the forum first!!) after trawling through the forum that this wasn't probably my best option I have set this up with my Euro 3900 and is powered by a MAAS SPS 330 II 30A, the problem I have is on SSB

Got hold of a Zetagi 132B base amp. Looks a bit vintage. Anyway, shoved some RF into it and at 5 watts in, the power meter on the amp swings right over to 100 watts..OK..now put my power meter on the out with a dummy load and the amp meter still says 100 watts but my power meter says about 45 watts. To get a 100 out of the thing requires an input power around 25 watts. (amp meter telling me I pushing 200 whiskeys ). Question 1. Is this the norm for these amps? Question 2. Is there anything I can adjust to get it to around 80 watts with an input of 5 watts? Question 3. Is there anyway of adjusting the meter than just tells lies?
Any info appreciated.
